Nothing defines Kareena Kapoor Khan’s signature look quite like sculpted cheeks and bold eyes. But in Tira’s new campaign —The House Party —the actor went for extra bronzed cheekbones, tightlined eyes and beige lips. Her bronzed glow look is great for a sundowner (or any party, for that matter), whether you’re the host or the guest. Here’s how to recreate it if you have one on your calendar soon.
The base
Getting your basics right for this dewy-matte look is essential. So start by prepping your skin with a serum and moisturiser. Avoid serums that dry your skin out—you want a dewy, lit-from-within glow.
Then, follow up with a primer that can hold your matte foundation in place. Once that is done, apply a thin layer of a lightweight matte foundation for a barely-there finish. This helps balance the dewy-matte look we’re going for. You can use a slightly damp makeup sponge to blend the foundation evenly.
Skip heavy concealer, as spot concealing should be enough for this look. To do that, target the under-eye area, temples and chin. Blend well—and finally, set everything with a matte pressed powder.

The cheeks
For snatched cheeks, use a dark brown bronzer and use the C-shape technique for a lifting effect. Blend with a contour brush, moving outwards. Then, add a light pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. Once that’s done, sweep some loose powder below the bronzer for a sculpted finish. Let it sit for a minute or two, then dust off the excess with a brush.
Lastly, add a bit of glow to your inner cheeks, temples, nose bridge and chin with a luminous highlighter.

The eyes
Lids: Start with a lightweight, gel-based eye primer. This step ensures your eyeshadow stays put all day, sans the creases.
Then, for the gradient effect, begin by sweeping some warm brown eyeshadow on the outer corners of your lids, going inwards as you blend. Once it’s blended, dab a light brown shimmer on the inner corner for added shine.
Use a thin, angled brush to tightline your upper lash line with a gel liner. Aim for a soft, blurred wing. Do the same on your lower lash line but add a touch of warm eyeshadow beneath for extra dimension.
Lashes: Top it all off with a volumising mascara—don’t shy away from falsies.
Brows: Use a brown eyebrow pencil to fill in any sparse areas, keeping the look natural.

The lips
To get the classic beige lips, begin with a hydrating lip primer to create a crease-free canvas. Then, define your lips with a peachy lip liner, blending the edges with a brush to achieve that dreamy, soft-focus effect. Next, apply a velvety nude lipstick which has a pink undertone.

Final moments
Now that your base, eyes and lips are ready, lock it all in with a matte setting spray. This step will ensure your makeup stays put all night. Go carefree with your hair—give the ends a playful curl and sweep your locks to one side.
