Understandably so, as Greta Gerwig’s much-awaited feature film slated to release later in July has truly made this the summer of everything Barbie.
Stepping into Barbie’s world, we see the inspiration for this tone rooted in the iconic doll that has been part of most of our childhoods. Be it in fashion or in beauty trends, we’re witnessing renditions of Barbiecore taking over our social media feeds and rapidly becoming 2023’s hottest trend.
