Cara Delevingne, Aditi Rao Hydari, Deepika Padukone, Emilia Clarke —what do these celebrities have in common? Eyebrows that are on point, every single time. There’s something about strong brows that can lift your look, frame your face and bring out your features like nothing else. Before you think that all you need for some great eyebrow makeup is a trip to a brow bar, you might be overlooking something you already have in your makeup kit.

Surprised? Learn how:

Step 1: Get your concealer shade right

Your concealer needs to be a shade lighter than your skin tone. This is to brightens your skin and give it a natural look. To blend it to perfection, it’s best to go with cream or liquid formulas.

Step 2: Shape your eyebrows

Once you’ve chosen your concealer, it’s time to pick out the stray hair. You can tweak the shape of your brows to your heart’s desire with a tweezer. If you prefer waxing or threading instead, that works too! Just remember, all eyebrow shapes are beautiful! Make sure your arch is well defined – this detail will make or break your look.

Step 3:  Draw them in

It’s time to work on your brows. Eyebrow styles are subjective, so feel free to choose between a feathery or defined look. Pencils, pomades, gels, or powders–– whatever your desired finish may be – select your product and begin drawing in. Fill in the areas where the hair is less and define the natural shape of your brows. Keep a light hand and flick the strokes in the natural direction of your hair. For a more feathery effect, use a spoolie to brush your brows outwards.

Step 4: Bring Out The Big Guns

Now’s when we blow your mind. To finish your brows, apply a light layer of your concealer to the area above and below your eyebrows, outlining. Follow the line of hair and swipe the product in the direction of its growth. We recommend using a thin, flat, angular brush. Then, using your fingertips, blend the concealer into your skin for a seamless finish.

Pro tip:

Apply some setting powder over your concealer to lock it in. Don’t forget to dust it off.

Record your eyebrows before and after trying this eyebrow concealer hack. You’ll be as amazed as we were.
