TIRA Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions (T&C)

Welcome to TIRA!

1. Program: Reliance Retail Limited (“Reliance”) offers this program, starting 28 December 2022 (“Tira Loyalty Program” or “Program”). Any person, who (i) is an individual resident of India as defined under the Income Tax Act, 1961); (ii) is of eighteen (18) years of age or above and has the capacity to enter into a legal contract; and (iii) meets such eligibility conditions as may be stipulated by Reliance from time to time; can participate in the Program (“Tira Loyalty Member”) at the time of shopping for the products sold or offered by Reliance on the website www.tirabeauty.com and its corresponding mobile application (collectively, “Tira Platform”). As part of the Tira Loyalty Program, Tira Loyalty Member can earn points (“Tira Points”) and use such points to get discounts on products purchased on the Tira Platform as detailed henceforth in these terms and conditions (“Terms”)

2. Enrolment: Participation in Tira Loyalty Program is subject to compliance with these Terms. Reliance may at its sole discretion, reject the enrolment in the Tira Loyalty Program for reasons it deems appropriate.

3. Amendments: Reliance reserves the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw, change, alter or modify Tira Loyalty Program /Terms and/or any part thereof including the eligibility criteria and other pertinent terms and conditions at their sole discretion at any time during its validity as may be required including in view of business exigencies and/or changes by a regulatory authority and/or statutory changes and/or any reasons beyond their control and the same shall be binding on the Tira Loyalty Member.

4. Acceptance: A person’s completion of a transaction on the Tira Platform shall be deemed to be explicit acceptance of these Terms. Tira Loyalty Member hereby acknowledges that he/she has understood and unconditionally accepts these Terms. Any Tira Loyalty Member providing incorrect information or concealing/withholding any information from Reliance with intent to participate in this Tira Loyalty Program will automatically be disqualified from participating in it. Reliance’s determination of such disqualification, at any point of time, shall be final and binding.

5. Privacy: All information collected in the course of applying for and participating in the Tira Loyalty Program shall be in accordance with Reliance’s privacy policy available at https://www.tirabeauty.com/privacy-policy (“Privacy Policy”). The Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms and acceptance of the latter shall be construed as explicit consent and acceptance of the Privacy Policy.

6.Electronic Record: These Terms are an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended / re-enacted) and rules thereunder and is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 (1) of Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics code) Rules, 2021, which mandates for publishing of rules and regulations, privacy policy and terms of use for access or usage of application. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.

7.Tira Points: The following terms and conditions apply to the accrual and redemption of Tira Points under the Tira Loyalty Program:

  1. Tira Points accrue to a Tira Loyalty Member in one of the following ways (“Accrual Process”):
    1. The Tira Loyalty Member, on and after the date of commencement of the Tira Loyalty Program, purchases certain products on the Tira Platform; and (ii) the relevant products are successfully delivered to the Tira Loyalty Member ((i) and (ii) collectively, (“Transaction Mode”); or
    2. Tira Loyalty Member refers a friend to the Tira Platform (“Tira Referee”) and the Tira Referee completes the sign-up on the Tira Platform through the referral link provided to them or enters the referral code (“Referral Mode”).
  2. Tira Points cannot be encashed and do not carry any real money value. Tira Points are redeemable as a discount only against the purchase price of products on the Tira Platform (“Redemption Process”). The Tira Points can be redeemed for a period of up to 1 (one) year from the data of accrual of the relevant Tira Points. Any redemption of the Tira Points shall strictly be in accordance with these Terms and cannot be clubbed with any other offer or scheme.

  3. Tira Loyalty Member can know the current balance of Tira Points by visiting the Tira Platform and through authenticated login credentials. Reliance’s computation of Tira Points shall be final and binding on the Tira Loyalty Member.

  4. Reliance reserves the right to determine, including modify, from time to time: (i) the Accrual Process (ii) Redemption Process; (iii) method of computation of Tira Points, etc. Accordingly, Tira Loyalty Members are advised to check these Terms regularly.

  5. The following table sets out the applicable: (i) Tira Points accrual ratio under different modes; and (ii) the Tira Points redemption ratio.

  6. Sr Accrual/Redemption Tira Points
    1 Accrual of Tira Points under the Transaction Mode Tira Points will be calculated and credited to the Tira Loyalty Member at the rate of 1% of the Transaction Value (as define below). (E.g. for every INR 100 that the Tira Loyalty Member spends on the Platform he/she will be eligible for 1 Tira Point.)
    2 Accrual of Tira Points under the Referral Mode 10 Tira Points for each Tira Referee, to be capped at a maximum of 10 Tira Referals. To clarify, a Tira Member can only accrue up to a maximum of 100 Tira Points under the Referral Mode
    3 Redemption of Tira Points Tira Points can only be redeemed against the aggregate value of a transaction by the Tira Loyalty Member on the platform (“Transaction Value”) and will be calculated in the ratio of 1 Tira Point is equivalent to INR 1 discount on the Transaction Value. (E.g. Tira Loyalty Member with 100 Tira Points will receive a discount of INR 100 on the Transaction Value, provided the Transaction Value is INR 100 or more.) To clarify, if the Transaction Value is lesser than the aggregate Tira Points accrued by the Tira Loyalty Member, then the Tira Loyalty Member will only be able to redeem Tira Points up to the Transaction Value. Tira Loyalty Member can only redeem a maximum of upto 1000 Tira Points towards payment of the Transaction Value for a specific transaction.

  7. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, to the extent Tira points are used to offset the Transaction Value (in full or in part) pursuant to these Terms (“Tira Redemption”), the Tira Loyalty Member will not be eligible to earn any Tira Points on the Transaction Value of the relevant transaction to the extent of the Tira Redemption.

  8. The Tira Loyalty Program is available for the personal use and benefit of an individual only and not for commercial use or for use by enterprises, including companies, partnerships and sole proprietorships. Tira Loyalty Points are credited to a Tira Loyalty Member which is meant solely for his/her personal consumption. A Tira Loyalty Member is identified by the mobile number he/she registers and therefore, the Tira Loyalty Member shall ensure that the registered mobile number on the Tira Platform belongs to such Tira Loyalty Member and is accurate and up-to-date.

  9. Reliance will not be responsible for any loss of Tira Points due to loss, misuse, surrender or transfer of mobile number by Tira Loyalty Member.

  10. In the event of any change in the registered mobile number, it will be the sole responsibility of the Tira Loyalty Member to promptly inform Reliance and strictly adhere to the process of updation or change of his/her registered mobile number, with necessary documents of proof, as may be stipulated by Reliance from time to time. Under no circumstances will Reliance be responsible in any manner for any delay on the part of Tira Loyalty Member to inform any change of registered mobile number or failure to adduce necessary documents of proof or adherence to process for effecting such change in the records of Reliance.

8.No Transfer of membership: Reliance does not allow a Tira Loyalty Member to transfer its membership to another individual and as such cannot be pooled with, combined or transferred to any other mobile number.

9.No Warranties: Subject to any applicable laws; (a) all warranties of any kind whatsoever, whether express or implied, are hereby expressly disclaimed including, but not limited to, meeting of the Tira Loyalty Member’s requirements or aspirations, timeliness, security, the results or reliability of the Tira Loyalty Program, any type of delay in delivery of the Tira Points or the delivery, quality, quantity, merchantability, fitness for use or non-infringement in respect of any goods, services, benefits or Tira Points acquired or obtained through the Tira Loyalty Program or any transactions effected through the Tira Loyalty Program; and (b) The Tira Loyalty Member expressly agrees that his/her participation in the Tira Loyalty Program is at his/her sole risk and is governed by these Terms.

10.Statutory Compliances: Reliance, may from time to time, in compliance with extant regulations and applicable law, impose additional terms and conditions that may be necessary for ensuring compliance of the Program with extant law. Such terms and conditions shall be binding upon the Tira Loyalty Member.

11.Indemnity: The Tira Loyalty Member shall indemnify and keep indemnified Reliance and their officers, directors, employees, customers, and affiliates harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, suits, proceedings, action, liabilities, damages, expenses and costs (including attorney’s fees and court costs) which Reliance may incur, pay or become responsible as sponsor/organizer/facilitator as a result of (i) breach or alleged breach of the representations or obligations by the Tira Loyalty Member under the Terms hereunder; (ii) any failure by the Tira Loyalty Member to comply with applicable law and (iii) any third party claim in respect of misuse of any information of a third party by the Tira Loyalty Member.

12.Force Majeure: Reliance’s obligation under the Tira Loyalty Program is subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, epidemic, lockdown, natural disasters, war, act of terror, political unrests, technical snags, act of God, change of laws or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Reliance (“Force Majeure Event”). Reliance shall not be liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to this Tira Loyalty Program as a result of a Force Majeure Event. If a Force Majeure Event occurs, Reliance shall not be responsible for any damage or loss which Tira Loyalty Member may suffer by reason of such a failure or delay of performance, and such failure or delay shall not be a breach on part of Reliance.

13.Waiver and Assignment: Failure by Reliance to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. Further, Reliance may assign any of its rights within the Tira Loyalty Program to any party without prior intimation to Tira Loyalty Member.

14.Marketing and Promotion: By participating in the Tira Loyalty Program, Tira Loyalty Member grants to Reliance a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, assignable license to display, publish, announce or refer the details or name of the Tira Loyalty Member (“Member Material”) in any form, electronic or print manner, venue, media or technology now known or later developed for any and all purposes, including, without limitation, for purposes of trade, advertising, and promotion as Reliance and its licensees or assignees determine, without any further compensation, notification, or permission.


  1. All disputes in connection with the Tira Loyalty Program (“Dispute”) within 15 (fifteen) days from the commencement of such Dispute shall be solved amicably. In case of such failure, the Dispute shall upon the expiry of the aforesaid period, be referred to e-arbitration to be conducted by a sole arbitrator, who shall be jointly appointed by Reliance and Reliance Loyalty Member involved in the Dispute from the panel of available e-arbitrators. All arbitration proceedings may be conducted through mode available on the internet or any other information and communication technology (including but not limited to video call system, telephone or mobile, fax, e-mail facilities) which can be beneficially used to solve disputes. All Arbitration proceedings shall be held in accordance to the provisions of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on the Parties. The award may include costs, including reasonable advocates’ fees and disbursements.

  2. Subject to the above clause, all disputes in connection with the Tira Loyalty Program are subject to the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Mumbai.
